To date, Shinji has made more than one hundred intaglio prints of flowers. Thirty-four examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Shinji draws the shape and surface details of his flower subject very accurately using thin black lines. An enlargement of the picture portion of each print is included to better show this fine detail. The picture’s background is either entirely black (e.g., pictures 1-6) or a series of colored lines and abstract shapes (e.g. pictures 7-33) which suggest moment and energize the picture.
